video script for DIVING INTO JEFFREE STAR MELODRAMTIC AND GLAMFUR LOST MEDIA ARCHIVES

1 [welcoming to the channel] Haiii Today we are going to be talking about something that we have been working on for the past 6 months and are very excited to share with you. It started with a innocent archive search but over time we have dove into peoples lives and subcultures on the internet. As the disclaimer has already stated none of this was out of belittling or public exploitation, we as unemployed losers, just found some interesting stuff and wanted to share it with the masses,

2 Been a huge fan of jeffree and his work for a long time but also very aware of his many controversies. so i was watching a video essay about him in my room one night early november and got interested in one of his archived websites known as “lipstick nazi” the information and photos for the site were blurred and vague so i decided to look it up myself out of pure curiosity.

3 So i went on internet archive which is a website for finding old or deleted websites, posts, photos etc. and search lipstick nazi, once i arrive i get to a black screen that has a link with the writing “hollywood's biggest threat’ so i click on the broken image link at the very top and get led to a emotional blog site where users are personally venting to others in very poetic and vulgar terms. This link supposedly led me to jeffres old account where he was writing things of his own dramatic fansites.

4 This blog site was called melodramatic. We will get into the history and reputation on the site later in the video to give context of other significant people that will come into our story.

5 As i read into his poems, i come across one interesting point apart of his final goodbye on the site. In this he states a girl named lee lee who was once his best friend. He goes into brief detail about the unsettling and obsessive relationship to one another. [read some examples] as we read further he mentions saving these photos and many others onto disks that he plans to release them ‘at the right moment”

6 With this is mind we decided to go back into the earlier days of his melo account to try to find these photos or more context for the situation.

7 As i go into the poems i find many things worth mentioning both good and bad

8 Good thing is that even if his aggressive ways made it hard to see through anything during this time his poems and way of describing the hurt and despair of his life and others was truly one of a kind. This was recognized by us and many others at melo making his account one of h=if not the most visited and followed on the site.

9 Although his fame was hard to ignore, so were his controversies. Use of swastika Quoting and referencing hitler Racial slurs Kkk references Self harm Harm of others Drug use [photos of all screenshots]

10 As we read more we come across another link onto lipstick nazi so as i clicked my phone was filed with virus like notification say derogatory and offensive things and this weird ass image of a uti??? that couldnt click out of unless i completely exited the tab. It was highkey scary and i thought i got hacked for a hot minute. [put screenshots a videos]

11 We are still unsure about the point of that and who posted it if there was any intention that anyone was to see it but it was clear we had gone a little too far now so we went deeper.

12 Deeper and deeper we go into melo pages finding photoshoots confessions and aggressive hatemail on his page, working our way backwards and finding a link to a very important blogger in the story. Lee lee, which can also be found as moth or lee lee filth on various accounts. We reach a dead site with her but think back onto what jeffree stated in his goodbye letter about early photos being posted of them on his account. So we went to the first posts and sure enough found some shocking images.

13 WARNNNINNG these next photos can be very disturbing to some. We will not put the full images of most and are not putting all of the photos that we found becaus eof youtube guidelines and personal morals. If you have sensitivity to self harm, open wounds. Dark images etc please skip over the next five minutes of the video. We will be blurring all of the gorey and inappropriate content out so continue at your risk. 14 So as we read we started to sympathize with lee lee as jeffree made comments almost insinuating her death in certaint parts of his script. As us being nosy we decided to see if lee lee was still alive. So we took her full face photo a=reversed imaged searched it. Nothing, trying over and over again with different photos and websites. finally, after paying 7.99$ we found a link to a plummet of lost media.

15 Once i clicked this link i immediately thought i was in the wrong place it directed to a furry corn website think of the weirdest corn u have ever tasted now multiply it and add fuzz that what i saw i knew i was in the wrong area of the internet but the link kept leading me back so against my own will i looked through a couple of text entrees and lee lees name immediately popped up

16 Obviously i was highly confused why she was being mentioned here and why did this photo led me to her. So i searched the history of the community and found out that this sub culture was called glamfur. it is a genre of art that resided in the deviantart and furrifinity space. it peaked in the early 2000s and dragged onto 2010s it was small community filled with a lot of drama

17 The site that the reverse image search lead me to was a completely different site that has similar attributes to a sketchier 4chan,every message was anonymous but eventually i got the insider scoop. Most of it.

18 So heres a run down. Glamfur is a furry art subculture created by kaz, kur and lee lee in the early 2000’s. It usually revolves around flashy alterative fashion, traumatic expericess, and the artists charactars and fursonas. The art as a whole is mostly very contriversial and needs a big open mind to interrpate. Without further of due heres are the artists that we found in interest in,

20 Introducing kaz and kur, the founders of the community and its unclear if they were siblings or dating like literally. But they pretty much started/ popularized the art style.

21 the next character we would like you to meet is zer yes thats their name by choice the info we have is long and excessive [deep breath and speed read] allegedly into pedo art alledgy sexuaxlly abused their animals alledgy is racist alledgy assulted friend younger brother allegedly dated a minor allegedly gave head to someone in communail showers high on ecstasy while somebody named panda chewed her shirt and watched anyways…

22 then we have lee lee of course who was known as one of the initial founders of the community as well as kaz and kur. Lee lees art is mainly centered around her friends in the community and her oc’s.

23 next up is the one and only lee lee’s ex partner known as Push Tyber who was obsessed with her during and after their split for years to come. during their time together lee lee helped them relize their pedo tendencies and sex addition. Push also really did not like jeffree at all after jeffree left melo, but they did really like mika (who we will talk about later). Push was also on melodramatic.com and would beef back and forth with jeffree on there (lols). Push, from multiple sources, was fucked up in the head and would always tell people how their mom took their virginity (idk bro) again, all alleged. We reached out to push which we will talk about later in the video.

24 last up is sun who allegedly was taking kaz kurs and lees art and styles during the era. ironically she stayed in the community the longest. We actually got to talk to sun! And she filled us in on what she knows which we will talk about that later on in the video but she is pretty cool and she still makes art and she is a very very talented artist and im so in love with her art style omg.

25 So after finding out about their crazy insane past lives we couldnt help but wonder what they were up to now And eventually became infatuated with how much u can find out about a person from digital footprint alone. we will circle backt o this but first, lets dicuss

26 Melodramatic was a blogging website that was created by Sara Robertson/Sioux in the late 90’s and was used up into the mid 2000’s. It was created as a site that had a community of people who needed to express themselves and needed support. Most people have never heard of Melo since it was such a niche site it doesn't even have a wikipedia page and very few people remember it/ post about it now.

27 Melo used the karma system just like reddit where you have a certain “score” based on how many posts and interactions you get. Being the first person to comment on a persons guestbook (which was called a g-spot) gave you extra points for being a “cherry popper”. If you wanted to like someone's post it was called “touches’ instead of likes and you have to spend “karma” to be able to do that. You also have to spend “karma” on “unlocking your colors” meaning being able to change the colors, font, logo, adding music, and more on your page. It was a very cool and creative website where mostly alternative people would blog and write poetry on.

28 By around 2005/2006 is when myspace gained traction and most of melodramatic (including jeffree) moved to myspace and left melo. Sara kept the site up until early 2010’s when the site became to expensive to keep up with.

29 Jeffree joined Melodramatic on 4/20 2002 (insane) and had been on that site until around 2006 when he left the site and moved to myspace as his main platform where he then became famous. Jeffrees presence was well known on melo as he was one of the top accounts on the website. At some point jeffree even modeled for the melodramatic merch. Jeffree used melo to express himself through poetry and talking to others through the screenname “cunt”. Jeffree was also on other websites like, face the jury, rebel fairy ( a website created by one of his friends for his friendgroup to post their poetry) live journal, and cunt and candy (a site jeffree shared with his friend candy but we havent been able to archive that website properly yet).

30 Melo is where i assume jeffree met Lee Lee through and they had a been really close friends (even meeting irl) from 2002-2005ish and then they grew apart. Lee lee joined melo shorty after jeffree and also wrote poetry on her page. Then in 2004, Lee lee’s account got hacked and someone stole her identity and photos so Lee lee made her very last post on Melo as a goodbye to the site. Even after leaving melo, Lee lee was still active in online spaces like live journal, devient art, and furaffinity.

31 Jeffree also was friends with mika who was also on melo. Mika was on melo since 2002 as well and after melo he moved to myspace and started his music career with the name “mika doll” that didnt last for very long but came out with some bangers.I literally have no fucking idea if they where friends or enemies or what happened because they have alot of photos together and talked alot but around 2005 is when mika would comment hate to jeffree and they would go back in forth but im unsure if they were jorking or not. i actually dont know cut this

32 trying to prove these insane stories are hard to believe though without insider knowledge so throughout our investigation we tried reaching out to many people for a hopeful testimony

33 jeffree star was the obvious first but the hardest we dm him so many time that we got soft blocked we went on his tiktok lives with four different account got restricted and blocked on all four and repeatedly tweeted at him with no response it is safe to say that he is winning idgaf war and wants nothing to do with us.

34 mika was our next victim we had found his tiktok but was unable to directly message, so with a few clicks we found out he is now living in london and owns a really cute coffee shop with his husband (called yas bean) we messaged him on instagram and was given no response on his personal and business accounts

35 we found lee lees instagram but were unfortunately not allowed in because of its private access and we have a yet to be able to reach out to her personally. We dont want to invade her privacy so if she sees this she can feel welcome to DM us (we would rlly appreciate this!!!!) but we dont want to push any boundaries so we aren't going to try any further to talk to her if that makes her uncomfortable.

36 we have had the chance to interact with sarah on many accounts as she has liked and responded to our tiktok comments about some of the melodramatic drama and potentially reloading the site.

37 the most exciting reach back was sun as we found her twitter and instagram after months of replying to photos and dming as well as downloading threads just to catch her attention she finally personally responded and gave us a full testimony of her glamfur life

38 Sun told us that she used to talk to Kaz who also goes by Saturnine/Adam/A.J? Decades ago and that they worked out their drama. She told us that she should have given him the credit he deserved back then and she feels really bad about that and wishes she could find him and talk to him now. She hopes hes doing alright now but they dont talk anymore. She doesnt know if hes still with Kur/ Anitique anymore or not. Sun says she had never talked to Kur/Antique or Lee lee and that she remembers talking to Zer a few times but they were not close. For the most part, she gave us some really interesting stories about glamfur but not about the specific people we are disccusing.

38.2 The next person we decided to contact was push tyber. It was pretty easy to find their instagram and we got a response pretty quickly and we moved our conversation to telegram. because of this, i wont have most of the screenshots from our conversation. It seemed that push didnt really want to talk about the “drama” side of glamfur and DEFINITELY didnt want to talk about lee lee or jeffree but did let use know how jeffree used to call their friends the n-word alot back in the day. Again they didnt really want to talk about anything to do with drama which i can respect and they kept on talking about mutual aid and indigenous territory which i read all the links they sent us and they were pretty interesting but didnt really have anything to do with glamfur and melodramatic related things. Push seems like they are living a pretty happy life now with their partner and doing what they are passionate about so props to them. They also gave us some good advice at the end of our conversation about staying safe online which was really nice.

38.3 We tried reaching out to Zer over twitter, but were immediately left on seen.

39 in conclusion we came to a brick wall in most cases but we’re not done trying and if we get any responses post uploading we will make an update video. Also we really arnt trying to be invasive to these people we are just really interested and if they dont want to talk about certain topics thats ok!!!! and if you guys find these peoples acoounts, please do not harrass them or send any hate.
